Is Adults-Only Dining on a Disney Cruise Worth the Extra Cost? Here's What You Need to Know About Palo Brunch

As a former Disney Cast Member, I’ve done a lot of dining across the parks and ships—but Palo brunch on a Disney Cruise? That’s on another level. It’s one of the few adults-only, extra-cost dining options on board, and it comes with a $50 per person price tag. So... is it worth it?

We tried it, and here are three things you absolutely need to know before booking:

1. It’s Pricey—But It’s Also All You Can Eat

Yes, Palo brunch costs $50 per adult, which makes it one of the more premium dining options on the ship. But unlike a typical prix fixe meal, Palo offers a full a la carte menu broken into six categories: antipasti, eggs, waffles and pancakes, soups, pizza, and entrées.

Here’s the best part: you’re not limited to one pick per section. Even though it’s a formal menu, Palo brunch is essentially all you can eat. Our servers encouraged us to try everything, and we didn’t hold back—eggs benedict, lasagna, mushroom flatbread, sticky buns, you name it.

The experience lasted around two hours and included a complimentary cocktail—a mimosa, Bloody Mary, or non-alcoholic sparkling cider to kick things off. It’s a leisurely, elevated way to start your day at sea.

2. There’s a Strict Dress Code

Disney Cruises are known for being laid-back and family-friendly, but Palo brunch is an exception. It’s one of the few places on board where you really need to dress the part.

Think: elegant, date-night attire. No flip-flops, tank tops, athletic wear, or swimwear. If you show up underdressed, you will be turned away—even with a reservation. The vibe at Palo is sophisticated, and the dress code helps keep it that way.

3. The View Alone Is Worth Booking

Palo isn’t just about the food—it’s about the experience. The restaurant is located at the aft of the ship, with panoramic floor-to-ceiling windows that offer stunning ocean views.

Whether you’re sipping your mimosa or cutting into a perfectly-cooked filet, you’ll be doing it with one of the best views on the ship. It’s a truly unforgettable backdrop.

So... Is It Worth the $50?

If you’re looking for a quiet, adults-only escape with incredible food, stellar service, and a luxe atmosphere—Palo brunch is absolutely worth it. Just make sure to book early (it fills up fast!) and pack something nice to wear.
